For this month’s stylists picks we have selected our all-time favourite ethically made, plastic-free handbags. No matter what the function or occasion, I guarantee there will be an ethical handbag here to meet your needs.
From Belo
Our first pick is a personal favourite of mine, From Belo make a wide range of adorable bags and pouches fit for any function. In this picture below I’m using my From Belo Sonya pouch. I love this little pouch, not only is it beautiful and goes with any outfit, but it’s also useful as a purse organiser.
All their products are made from consciously sourced sustainable and recycled materials. In fact, a lot of their materials have been rescued from landfill. They recently launched a range of bags made using old seat belts and honestly, the idea is genius because they look amazing.

MORPH BAG
Next up we have The Morph bag by GSK. This consists of a 3-piece set, including a reversible tote bag, a crossbody/ shoulder bag and a clutch/ wallet. All these bags are extremely durable and versatile. They have a seasonless style and are perfect capsule wardrobe pieces. Because they are so durable, I highly recommend these if you are looking for an everyday use/ work handbag.
The Morph bag is made using PETA certified luxury vegan leather which is made to look and feel exactly like the real thing.
ARTISAN AND FOX
This little hand-woven bag from Artisan and Fox was a staple of my summer wardrobe this year. Artisan and Fox are an ethical artisan marketplace, they carry so many beautiful pieces made by incredibly talented artisans from all over the world, including, homeware, bags and accessories.
This bag, in particular, is from Guerrero, Mexico and is made using 100% natural sun-dried Mexican palm leaves and takes two whole days to make. So, you know you really are paying for quality.
MAHA LOKA
The Do Great Tote by Maha Loka is the ultimate tote bag. It’s practical and stylish and perfect for running casual errands like the gym, shopping or just meeting up with friends. Any occasion where you’re dressing down but you still need a stylish holdall bag on your arm.
Maha Loka is partnered with Artisan Fashion who employ over 1,000 African artisans who create, produce and deliver these bags.
EMBELLISHED TRUTH
And last but by no means least, my final pick are these gorgeous clutch bags by Embellished Truth. Embellished Truth makes their bags using the best eco-friendly leather, which is vegetable tanned in Europe.
I love the unique design of these clutches, they really make a statement and complete any going out outfit.
