The Be The Change Awards is an initiative by Sian from Ethical Hour and one of our EBD members Jo from Where Does It Come From.
This is your chance to put yourself forward or nominate a person who you believe is doing great work, and deserves recognition.
WHAT THE JUDGES ARE LOOKING FOR
Inspiring, impact-driven brands across a range of sectors that are making a positive impact. Brands, organisations and individuals with a powerful impact story to tell. They should have a big vision for the world and a clear plan of action to create the change you wish to see.
The judges are looking for the most inspiring, impact-driven brands across a range of sectors.
Be The Change Awards will be divided into the following categories:

- Accessories
- Beauty
- Food & Drink
- Travel
- Babies & Children
- Home & Gift
- Business Services
- Changemaker of the Year
- Tech For Change
- Community
- Organisations & Campaigns
- Brands That Give Back
- People’s Choice Award (open to public vote, all shortlisted entrants will automatically be put forward)

HOW TO ENTER
The judges want to hear your story and see you tell it, so they’re asking all entrants to make a short video (max. 3 minutes) which tells their impact story.
This could be talking directly to camera, footage of work, a selection of still images with a voiceover or another creative way of telling the story They’re not expecting Hollywood film crews – a short video captured on a mobile phone is just fine – it’s the story that matters.
Winning entries will inspire and move the judges.
The judging panel are looking for ambitious visions alongside practical plans to make them happen. They want to hear about the people who are being helped, the impact the brand is making and the change they hope to create in the world. The judges simply want to now where the brand has come from and where it’s hoping to go, and most of all, show them how the brand, team members and the founders are aspiring to Be The Change!
