On the 1st January 2020 our founder Roberta Lee was invited into the BBC News studio as a sustainable style expert to discuss clothes swapping and sustainable fashion. She was interviewed by news presenter Julian Worricker and shared some of her favourite sustainable brands.

Roberta shared some stats about the importance of extending the life of clothes by nine months, which can reduce carbon, water, and waste footprints by around 20-30% each annually (WRAP). This is why clothing swaps are great for keeping clothes in circulation and away from landfill.
She also highlighted some of her favourite sustainable fashion brands (that she personally uses), why they were sustainable and gave viewers a first-hand look at what great quality sustainable items look like.
