Sourcing & Supplier Transparency
Ethiqana take great care in selecting their suppliers. Two of our suppliers are certified by WFTO. The suppliers who are not certified are required to comply with Fairtrade values i.e. no child labour, fair wages to the artisans, help with health and social care. One of their suppliers is a trained social worker who started her business so she could work with artisans closely and help improve their social status.
Ethiqana also believes that sustainability cannot be overlooked, as an ethical business they must also care about sustainability. As part of their commitment to sustainability, they try to use as little plastic packaging as possible. Some of it is unavoidable due to the nature of the products and they have eliminated polystyrene as fillers wherever possible.

Tips from Roberta Lee
Ethiqana offer a lovely selection of handmade items for those who love the ‘artisan’ look – where you can see it’s been handmade with love – no mass production.
I really like their old fashioned wooden children’s toys – and they do some great decorations for around the home. I personally love the union jack pillow – I think this makes for a great gift for guys too!
